Journey into the world of Mahl, where larger than life heroes can be smaller than expected! Run on the fast-paced Nimble system, this 80s homage sets the sprawling quests of Sword and Sorcery epics within the nostalgic realm of teen mall dramedies. Think The Secret of NIMH and Redwall crossed with Ferris Beuller’s Day Off.

    Sixth (and illegitimate) son of the king of Jack-o-Penny, Henry was raised as a political hostage in King’s Court after his family sided with Arcadia in the Great War. Henry is a brilliant tactician, fiercely loyal fighter for King’s Court, and the most optimistic sad boy you’ll ever meet.

  • Cinna the Bun

    A battle-hardened fugitive from the animal prison of Petlandia and aspiring applicant to the Queen’s Guard, known for their half-finished kilt and trusty crochet stick. Cinna is fleet of foot, strong of heart, and a dim-witted thembo of the highest order.

    A well-respected elder in King’s Court, Siouxsie is the resident hedge witch of the village of Tacobel. Once the beloved mascot of the Goth Giants of Hotopic, Siouxsie is formidable, nurturing, and may or may not have a thing going with the archmage of King’s Court.

    A recently awakened young mushroom spore from the World Outside, Lilah was discovered near King’s Court speaking in the tongues of Giants. Known for her eyeless face, eldritch power, and California sass, Lilah is eternally hopeful, wildly powerful, and deeply unsettling to be around.

    Our first major campaign, “The Badlands” is a fantasy western epic inspired by works like Stephen King’s Dark Tower and the Fallout games. GM Casey Papas and a trio of outlaws uncover secrets on the ravaged frontier, all while pursued by the capitalist warmongers seeking to conquer it.

    In this series of mini-campaigns, GM Robin Langenhop takes our heroes — including guest player Imani Russell — through a pastiche of summer camp slasher movies with indie RPG systems like “Kids on Bikes” and “Monster of the Week.”
